    How did he connect the dns to the external ip without the apache server?

    How do you make it a 64 bit payload. I tried doing -p windows/x64/meterpreter/reverse_tcp_dns but it says that there is no such payload. And I tried putting -a x64 but it said it is not a compatable arch. Please help.

    You don't need a friend to test this, you can set up a second VM as a target.

    on kali 2.0 you dont have to set the tcp_dns tcp works now

    @ Exillium Fates: it works on dynamic ip…but when the victim disconnects you lose him…with DNS, i.e no-ip account, you can fix the victim for as long as you can

    if you want to test this on your internal network would it work cause I am trying to test it on my own network fist but it same not to be working
