Okay thats it! after binge-watching this show I'm going to start a pwn/CTf competition with a friend
I need more metasploit minute! This video has my gas pedal PINNED
What version kali?
Gotta love the bro moment @12:30 mark. 😀 I like this setting for Mubix. I can learn a lot from casual conversation.
Hi Hak5!! Huge fan of your videos! Is there any way to get persistence on a meterpreter session on a mac? Through Osx/x86/shell_reverse_tcp or java/meterpreter/reverse_tcp? I've tried exploit/osx/local/persistence with no success yet.
Mubix is the coolest guy ever i wanna meet him… you 2 kitchen sink
Awesome video! I love everything Mubix says, and when dan kitchen and Mubix get together, you best be ready for some knowledge bombs getting dropped!
Nice Video, but is there a possibility that the persistence runs automatically without a connection to my host machine? I mean you cant sit there 24/7 waiting for your victim to connect to you.
AutoRunSCript also only works with a opened session…
Great stuff.
As for suggestions, one thing that I'd like to get more into with Metasploit is using non-traditional c & c channels. I know Metasploit/Meterpreter supports doing some stuff with using a shell over DNS, but Iast time I checked I couldn't discern a straightforward way to do something like use social media sites (as real bad guys are increasingly doing today, apparently). If you had hints & tips for modern c & c channel detection evasion that you wanted to share that would be awesome.
Such a great show-style-show!
Do more of these please!
What's the significance of his hat? The one with the dots…
Hey, can you please do an episode on Mac OS X Persistence (for Metasploit)? It seems there are already tons of built in Windows persistence modules, but none of the built-ins work for OS X currently.
Thanks for reading this!

When the new multi-transport stuff gets landed, hopefully the risk of losing your shell in the first place will be drastically reduced.
i love how mubix whispers when he talks about an exploit like someone is listening in it makes everything sound 10x cooler haha
Hey guys, huge fan of Hak5 and glad Threatwire is back! ONE QUICK QUESTION….what are your current views on the beloved Truecrypt? Does it still stand as secure to you even after the audit?
Thanks again,
Paul.
Are you guys gunna do that in NYC in the future?
Or make it an online lecture?
Mubix is using a Mac? I always thought pro pen testers promoted Mac to bash Microsoft, the company they make the most money from. Is the Mac platform better than Windows/Linux? Wouldn't all of the ease-of-use features integrated in Mac software make it just as 'loud' on a network as a rouge Win/PC?
great , that is persistence for windows devices what about linux or android ?
@Hak5 @Darren Kitchen Any interest in visiting Fort Gordon to see the Cyber Center?
the hat is back!
first thing I noticed was the glider on mubix's hat
