In this lab, I attempt to utilize openvas and db_nmap with metasploit to scan for vulnerabilities. I was unable to connect to openvas due to a socket listening error so I discovered vulnerabilities by hand utilizing searchsploit combined with my nmap -sV scan.

Exploited the VSFTPD 2.3.x backdoor vuln.
