    When i restart the service it gives an error :–Failed to restart metasploit.service: Unit metasploit.service not found.

    In the end, what you did was copied the source code of the exploit which was written in ruby programming language (.rb) and pasted in a new text file with its original intended name using vi text editor.

    But what about that you made several directories like https and what not???

    i get this error efter adding an exploit :
